Where is August Going???

August 8th??? What?!?!

Where is this month going? It shows no signs of slowing down, either! Today there is a birthday party for a friend of Justice's (Katie is 4). AND the wedding of a guy Kevin works with, that I knew from High School... AND Kev works regular patrol.

Tomorrow is a regular Sunday workday, church and all.

Next week should also fly by, sence Kev only has 2 days off and Monday he has court, and we have another wedding (this time a friend of mine since Kindergarden) AND Kevin has late-night k9 training.. Whew! Tuesday we have more landscaping work to do and a bbq with some long-lost friends (who only live around the corner) who live the crazy cop-life like we do. It'll be fun to at least get our kids together to play.

Wednesday Kevin works day-shift again, Thank God! Justice has AWANAs, and I have Bible study, so we'll be at church all evening.

Thursday and Friday are regular work days for Kevin, and I will be able to get caught up on chores. The weekend should be low-key, just more landscaping. Hopefully we will get the front yard done.

Monday the 17th I have another doctor appt.in the morning, and maybe we'll have a bbq that eve, there are some friends we've been trying to have over for some RockBand fun, but they, too, live the crazy cop-life and we just havent been able to nail down a day. I guess we'll see... Wednesday Kev goes back to work and we have a k9 trial in San Francisco that weekend. We're going to try to do the Angel Island/Alcatraz tour while we're there because its on the list of Parks to close (although Angel Island is NPS-ran). So pray for us, the tours combined are about 5.5 hours long. Thats going to make for some cranky kids!

The next week we have a Black Pajama bbq and everyone knows the day Im dreading coming up...

Kevin has to try to squeeze in more fundraising for Lodi's K9 trial (on Sept 11th and 12th) in between all this madness..

(Good luck with that, honey. lol.)

It sounds like a lot, but its really not more than any other month. I am just flabbergasted that it is August already and it doesnt seem like it!

Well, Im off to get ready for this crazy day!
