I am reading Power of a Positive Mom with a group of moms from St. Peter.
Chapter 1 asks us to reflect on our "job" as a mom, and come up with a description of what we "do".
In light of God being my employer, here is what I came up with:
Julie Kent, Operations Executive:
-Oversees all daily tasks of subordinates.
-Dictates schedule.
-Manages all household activities, chores, meals, budgets and devotions.
-Provides unconditional love, endless support, and cheers excessantly at acheivements.
-Impliments guidelines for behavior, rules and punishments with gentleness, understanding and fairness.
-Maintains a constant presence.
-Leads by example.
Colossians 3:17 says "17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
